Edit: Plz, dont misunderstand what I meant, I'm not saying to those who are inspired by someone else's style to stop drawing like them, I'm not God or have the right to ask it, the main point is ppl who do it "exactly" like another artist's style, and those who don't admit it! Read carefully
So,
Once in a while I get comments and notes about ppl "copying" my style or if I know someone who has a style similar to mine, this kind of remember me that shit about my chibi style long time ago...
That's a very... delicate situation...
Some of my friends get rlly mad that I dont do anything about it... but, actually it doesn't bother me, that much! lol
I really prefer to focus on my works and to get better than paying attention to this
but it also doesn't mean I'm okay with someone literally copying me...
When I was younger I used to "copy" my favorite artists until find my own style, and that's what I try to think when the ones that are "inspired" by my style do... and I feel very honored!
Of course, I don't care if someone has similarities with my style but I will get a little upset if:
_The person does it exactly like my style;
_The person doesn't admit they are inspired by me when it's pretty clear they do;
I am not asking anyone to say "yes I'm inspired by ntdevont's works thats why it looks so alike and blahblah...", but I don't like when someone says that are similarities and the person just pretends they don't know me or even don't think my style has something related to theirs.... :/
I don't have an original style, my works look like many other artists around DA, but, I really try to make my works to have something "recognizable" for when people see this around internet they say, "that's that dude work...", the way I shade, the way i draw noses, the way I draw eyes, hair, etcetcetc... and this is sad when that thing you developed to be your own characteristic isn't your own anymore...
So, this is not a rant journal or I'm mad or anything, but, it's just that I constantly get this subject in my conversations with my friends... and I wanted to make it clear and share it with you guys :3
So, just a tip, if you really like someone's style, there's no problem about making yours similar to them, but, just don't do it exactly like their style... You don't know how good is to have your own style and be recognizable by this... xD

Please specially if I own you a commission read this: I hope you’re all doing well and keeping safe with everything that’s happening in the world! So I’m messaging all my followers and commissioners to inform an inconvenient incident! Some of you might know that a month ago I was having issues with my tablet device, a cintiq companion, specifically the charging port was not working properly. For a few weeks I managed to make it charge somehow, however, the past weeks it just started charging when the tablet was turned off, so basically, I had to use it until the battery drained completely and had to wait for it to fully charge again to keep using it. Apparently this is a common issue with this tablet model. Unfortunately last week the charging port broke completely, it won’t charge at all, the port feels loose when I try to plug the charger into it, so I guess there’s no way for myself to fix it or manage to make it work. I’ve contacted wacom support and since there’s no wacom store

UPDATE!
I'm still making monthly visits to the doctor and taking medication, but am doing much better! This last year was crazy as hell, but I made it thanks to everyone who supported me somehow! I don't know if I'd be able to go through all of this without you, without your supportive messages! I'm so thankful! You're my idols! I can finally work again, and am not accepting any donations! Hurro guys! It's been a looooong time since my last journal, I'm sorry for disappearing! As some of you know, at least those who've seen my latest posts, I recently moved to Australia, just a 20 hours flight from my home country ;A; (i actually spent 43 hours flying around the planet until get here because y'know, cheaper tickets LMAO)

all i can say is if u find someone that has a style that is exactly like urs because they copied off u or something, try to think of it as both of u own said style cause u both use it. i try to think this way so that i dont have to get mad over thinking someone is stealing something from me but instead we are just sharing it xd. .Also since u sortuv create ur own style by adding something "recognizable" to it has u put it , u can at least take comfort in the fact that u own the fact that u created this style and no one can take that away, even if they use it.
